Reservations and Equipment Rentals

Salt Lake County maintains over 60 parks throughout the valley. Most facilities in this guide have been judged to be negotiable by wheelchair users without assistance, but call Park Operations at 801 483-5473 for site-specific information.

Reservations for county parks are accepted beginning the first business day each January (by telephone ONLY on the FIRST reservation day of the year.) The reservation fee for use of a park pavilion is $50 per day for up to 200 people and $75 for groups of 201-499 people. Call Salt Lake County Parks at 801 483-5473 to make reservations and for information on fee structure for larger groups or to schedule special events.

Reservations for Sugarhouse Park are accepted the first working day in March. Terrace reservation fees for Sugarhouse are $50.00 per half day (8am to 2pm or 3pm to 10pm) and $75.00 for a full day (8am to 10pm.)

Recreation buildings are available year-round.

Park pavilions, terraces and game equipment may be reserved from May 1 through September 30.

Reservations are not accepted for the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Pioneer Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve.

Reservations must be made at least three working days before scheduled event.
